Principal

Heather, "HG", is a Principal at Flying Fish, where she has the privilege of working alongside founders building companies that aim to meaningfully shape our future. She partners with founders from inception and leads the firm’s investments in novel scientific discovery across biology, chemistry, materials science, and physics, as well as in compute infrastructure and hardware acceleration. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, preparation, and respect for the difficulty of building. HG’s goal is to serve founders building the most important companies of tomorrow and to maintain the discipline required to recognize enduring opportunities early. Prior to joining Flying Fish, HG held roles at JP Morgan Technology Banking, ON Semiconductor, and Tesla - experiences that shaped her analytical rigor and appreciation for how technology is built, financed, and scaled in the real world. She has contributed to the open-source Hyperloop Project in collaboration with university teams, reinforcing her belief in interdisciplinary problem solving and long term thinking. HG is based in San Fransisco where she enjoys hiking with her two dogs and watching hockey.
